UNESCO Teacher evaluation
The main purpose of this evaluation was to assess and generate findings, lessons learned, regarding the relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of the UNESCO Education Sector’s work pertaining to the field of teacher development. It was intended to provide programmatic and strategic level recommendations for the work of different Education Sector units and field offices. The findings and recommendations of the evaluation served to inform the Education Sector’s vision for its work on teacher development by identifying areas that warranted particular attention, to support the progress towards achieving quality education for all during the recovery and in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
