Simon is senior consultant and Director at Ockham IPS. He was involved in more than 90 research and evaluation projects in the last ten years. These projects covered various fields including studies and evaluations related to education, training and lifelong learning, labour market and employment policies, cohesion policies, mobility, social security, culture and science. Simon is involved in these studies as researcher, expert, evaluator or project leader. Simon has the external consultant in the ET2020 Working Group in Adult Learning focusing on adult learning in the work place. He is editorial board member for the European Training Foundation and the E-Platform for Adult Learning in Europe. He has a background in philosophy, with a minor in statistics.
