Evaluation of pilot equiping boa's with short baton

Together with Plato / UL, Ockham IPS carried out the evaluation of a pilot in which 10 Dutch municipalities could equip their municipal enforcement officers (boa's) with a short baton. The purpose of the pilot was to collect experiences with working in line with the anticipated future regulation for special enforcement officers to carry weapons, currently under development by the Ministry of Justice and Safety. The evaluation systematically mapped the local policy choices, approaches and the experience gained during the pilot.
