Leonora Verveld

Leonora is a junior policy researcher at Ockham IPS, with work experience at the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency, the National Ombudsman, and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. She has contributed to policy research regarding just transitions, personal debt, the heating transition, and has worked on citizen participation in policymaking. She is passionate about bridging the concrete, everyday experiences of citizens with the complex administrative reality of policy, focusing on research that is both analytically rigorous and socially relevant. With a double master’s degree in political, social and ethical philosophy and particle physics, she combines in-depth qualitative analysis with strong quantitative insight.
